History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. Through the years after Sweet was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Sweet's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: He comes from a rich southern family. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything.
