He has had some formal poetry training, and achieved minor success. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

He found a children's book about a Tiefling Ranger who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Half-Orc artifacts is his passion.
