History: She got into the Carter business at a young age. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Carter work with an outfit from a few towns over. Carter work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Carter for hire.

Description: This woman stands a little under 5'5" and is a bit bulky. She is very muscular particularly in the legs. She is wearing the road beaten gear of a warrior. She wears her silver hair up. Her eyes, though not visible through her cowl, are gray.

Personality: She has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Assassin who has hired her part-time. She is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes her no end of embarrassment.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. When Baelitae reached her early adolescence her Half-Elf father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. She left for the north, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: She'd like to take her coworkers down a peg; and she has a crush on the local marshal

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and his religion dominates his actions

Description: Relatively heavier built than your average man, he is not imposing. He usually wears his grey robe and has his lance always slung over his shoulder. His long silver hair reaches down to his waist. His face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.

Personality: He swings through moods quickly. One moment he is cool and collected, the next he is carried away by passions. He is fiercely devoted to his father, and views his father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.

History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his father. A freak accident while working with his Baker father left him crippled. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found.

Description: He is wearing a long, tan cloak. He cuts an attractive figure and his suit of old armor is well cared for even if it is obsolete. He sports a long silver beard, and similarly colored long hair. He tend to wears goggles to shield his eyes.

Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. He is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Caeldrim was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: Regain custody of his son; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion
