Personality: Jacoba hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate her. It was this clingy personality that held back her music career. Jacoba is a bit of a follower. Usually she is manipulated by her brothers into helping them out, but recently she has become more of a free agent.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Being born in the east, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the east for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way north. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

History: Baelitae was raised in a hard working conservative environment. There was a wharf not far from home where she often wandered off to fish. She now owns her own business.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, she was no stranger to responsibility. She moved from fad to fad and when she turned 15 she discovered writing. She has never given up on her writing dream.

Personality: Her tongue was cut out and she uses sign language. She is kind towards other women and children and will generally offer women help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to her.

History: She was born at the edge of vast desert. Her father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her father was legitimate. She now spends her time doing works of charity.
