Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic woman, River's first love is herself. Her second love is also herself. She is always in debt, since she spends her money on lavish parties and gifts for friends

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, River was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Her parents were killed by orcs in a raid when she was still a young child. The orcs captured her, and made her a slave and general play-thing. She was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to her deformed appearance. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by orcs. River was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the orcs.

Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for her; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by orcs, and she desires to right it

History: Ombul was raised in a hard working conservative environment. His mother took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.
