He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. On top of that he is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to his employer will always come first he doesn't like to hit women.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. Through the years after Shane was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Shane's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Description: This woman is bedraggled and starved. She wears a well pressed and immaculate suit (or dress). Her brown hair is slicked back into a classic pompadour. Her face possesses mild wrinkles. Her smile is extraordinarily sincere though she does not smile often.

Personality: A deeply religious woman she believes everything happens for a reason. She loves teas. She is very sensitive about her face. To blow off anger she lifts weights and to control her otherwise explosive temper she works out a lot.

History: A powerful slaver made her what she is. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She struck the Fisher job and began her own company from there.

Motivation: She is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs.

Description: She is typically in her Shepherd uniform, and she perpetually has her longbow ready. Her blue hair is heavily combed to the right. This black eyed northerner is not easily forgotten.

Personality: She is unhospitable to her core. Her small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. She is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: She was born on a small isolated farm. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her father gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her father, who blamed her for driving them apart. She struck the Shepherd job and began her own company from there.

Description: This man is tall and muscular. He is dressed in an above average manner. His hair, while still mostly chestnut, has prominent grey streaks. His fair skin shows little sign of his aristocratic breeding.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Carter born in the past three hundred years. He refers to his adoptive mother for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: He was born at the edge of vast forest. A gifted student he started as a Knight, but he got bored and became a Carter. He struck the Carter job and began his own company from there.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Carter responsibilities is difficult; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion
