Upon awakening, Volen discovered the rest of her party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Volen fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing her own horrible transformation.

Personality: He is curt in most of his responses. He prefers to keep his word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his writing with anyone who is interested.

History: He comes from a rich southern family. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Personality: He is intelligent and cunning, but he will too often allow his rage to get the better of him. He will lose his cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. He will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: He was born in the east. Because his father participated in the massacre of their homeland, goblins burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the east, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his mother from journeying east to reunite his family. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and revenge

Personality: His voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl he speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of his tone. He would rather hide behind his crafts than deal with other people.

History: He was raised in a plains tribe. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Halfling activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Halfling doctor. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
