This search led him directly into Dyer work with an outfit from a few towns over. Dyer work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He became a Dyer soon after.

Some 9 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Geoffrey never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his father had trained him before.
