Personality: She runs her personal life as if detached from it. She organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits she will get from it. She does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Through the years after Salanop was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Salanop's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, she has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. Animals are drawn to her, and she is able to talk to them.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. In her youth she was part of a gang. She got caught, but did not rat out her comrades and served her time in prison. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Motivation: She desires power and/or immortality; and a rival would like her out of the picture
