History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: Born in the west to a Barrister, Rose learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. She worked as a nervous Barrister and found it very stressful. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Personality: She is unhospitable to her core. Her small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. She has a cruel streak; something she gained from her previous mentor. She harbors resentment against her former mentor.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Her father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her father was legitimate. She has worked as a Carter like her mother before her.

Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Carter responsibilities is difficult.

Personality: She cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with her opinion, she thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, she can get violently argumentative. She cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist she will grow angry at them.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. Over the years she perfected her riding and shooting skills. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: He comes from a rich southern family. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.
