Description: She is a pot bellied eastern woman with a big hulking figure and broad shoulders. She wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment. Her moppish silver hair is in a traditional bowl cut. Her hazel eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. She has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: While she acts the brute, she is far gentler than she would appear. She is frequently practicing swordplay.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Her mother was a soldier and died while she was still young. Heather was left her mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Heather fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and retire the richest woman in the east

Description: A man with a calm yet intense air about him, he wears a shirt that is too small, which lets his gut show, with a ratty blue coat over it. With bright auburn hair and a scraggly beard. His gray eyes are slightly larger than normal.

Personality: His voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl he speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of his tone. He will do just about anything if he becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this he is easily convinced.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: To settle down with his crush.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes illithids are coming to abduct people. He is lazy and tries to find solutions quickly.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. In his 13th year, his parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Bagga alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: To unite with his sister; and to find somewhere to settle down

Description: A middle-aged man, he wears dark leathers with embroidery, and is pretty ugly. His black hair is kept up in a ponytail inside a wide-brimmed hat. He is baby faced.

Personality: He swings through moods quickly. One moment he is cool and collected, the next he is carried away by passions. He is stubborn though. He always likes to keep a trick up his sleeve. He likes to fight dirty and will kick and punch below the belt if he feels he even has a chance of losing.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Ortegar grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Ortegar. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help

Description: A woman with a calm yet intense air about her, she sports white clothing, slightly heavier than average wear. Her blonde hair is wavy and long. She has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. She wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: She's a bit of a prankster. She knows she is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. She does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for her. She lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: Gaaki was born in the north. At a young age she loved to build and create. Her mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of her brother; and someone believes her a fraud
