History: Halander was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: He feels kind of lost in life; and he made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it

Personality: Shamash wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Monk, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He takes great joy in being the best Layabout in town.

History: Shamash was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Monk, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Monk in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Layabout.

History: Greeba was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her father was employed at, doing general labor. In her 11th year, her parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Greeba alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has been saving her money to try and buy her brother's freedom.

Personality: He is witty, but his monotone delivery comes off as unnerving He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. He took after his father in leading caravans. Because they were valued, his father taught him to defend himself. When his father died while fighting orcs, the young Jebeddo began to lead the lost caravan. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the east; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge
