History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. In his 19th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Body Guard. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Description: Dark and lean, he is a relatively plain man. He wears a black coat over a grey low-cut shirt, and a wide-brimmed hat upon his head. He keeps his red hair in a pixie cut. His red eyes peer out from beneath his wide-brimmed black hat.
Personality: He likes to brag about his accomplishments and constantly tries to beat others to the punch. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.
History: He was born at the edge of vast desert. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the desert to a summer home near a old dungeon. He would wander through that old dungeon and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the desert due to the painful memories there. Valafar took refuge in the old dungeon and found the beat up club and armor he uses now. He has recently attracted an admirer that believes he's playing hard to get.
Motivation: Retire the richest man in the north; and he wants to get laid

Description: This exceptionally lanky woman wears a simple burlap shirt and baggy pants. She conceals her shortspear with her veritable burlap sack of a shirt. Her crest is copper and curly. Her half smiles and gold eyes are beguiling and draw you in.
Personality: She takes her job very seriously, in part because she fears she cannot get a new one. She dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. Her biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.
History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Perra was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Being born in the north, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the north for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way east. She now owns her own business.
