It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. The occasional robbery is his preferred attention getting crime, but he mainly uses his means for meeting his own perverse desires.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Osco grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Osco. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: She thrives on attention. She does whatever is in her power to gain the attention of whomever she deems a fit date. She is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with her old comrades. She has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: Born in the east to a Ploughman, Nalaed learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. Nalaed abandoned her home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. She survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. She did whatever it took for her to survive. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.

Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He passes on several rewards to people in need. He makes a point to leave places better than he found them.

History: He comes from a rich western family. His druidic abilities were realized during a raid on his village. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.
