Personality: She speaks before she thinks and is too direct. She cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist she will grow angry at them.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her father. Through the years after Ruloth was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Ruloth's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She eventually got the idea of being the protector of her homeland from reading books, and has made it her duty.

Personality: She is erratic and paranoid. She believes giants are coming to abduct people. Her philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Vaina was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Halfling companion (her 'brother'). She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. Like his mother and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Painter. He became a Painter soon after.

Personality: She barks her statements quickly and with little fuss. She prefers small words and is at her heart utilitarian. Despite her manner, she is extremely passionate and proud of her job, and she prides herself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. A gifted student she started as a Fortune-teller, but she got bored and became a Courier. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.
