History: Watson lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Sage they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Soapmaker, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it; and regain custody of his daughter

History: Gifted from a young age, Saphara studied abroad. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Miner work with an outfit from a few towns over. Miner work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She was granted necromantic powers by her dying sister.
