Description: 2'11" and muscular, this northern man is well dressed, but even with his fine clothing he looks run-down. His moppish white hair is in a traditional bowl cut. His half smiles and blue eyes are beguiling and draw you in.

Personality: He misses his glory days as an athlete. He does not mind his job, but it is boring in comparison. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of brigands once and for all.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. While he appears to be a normal Halfling, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and he desires to right it; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge

History: Ratak was raised in a hard working conservative environment. In his 19th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of specialists.

Description: A woman with a warm, jovial air about her, she wears a brown coat over a blue low-cut shirt, and a deerstalker hat upon her head. Her beige fur has been sun bleached extensively. Her eyes are a pleasant amber.

Personality: She is intelligent and cunning, but she will too often allow her rage to get the better of her. She will lose her cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. River enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for her love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: She was born in the east, but her parents moved at a very young age to the west. Over the years she perfected her riding and shooting skills. She bought a rapier and has really upped her game hunting, due to her understanding of decoy and ambush.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and meet up once more with her childhood friend

History: Kipper lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Through the years after Kipper was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Kipper's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Kipper and his spouse have recently divorced.
