History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Healer hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Motivation: He wants revenge against illithids; and wants to open a new tavern

Personality: He is happy with his job as a Hunter. He turns his eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. He disdains his fellow northerners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. He became a Hunter soon after.

Personality: His voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl he speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of his tone. He has a habit of throwing himself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Balam was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the dire rats.
