History: He was born into a rich family. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Scribe they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Unemployed, and he later adopted a second son.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister

Description: A thin man, he clearly needs to put on some weight, but he still has a lot of muscle. He tends to wear a heavy leather apron. Coupled with his rolled up shirt sleeves this gives him a very relaxed look. His hair is purple and curly. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Valafar's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.
