History: Sweet hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. Because her father participated in the massacre of their homeland, dire rats burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. She was preparing to flee to the north, but the outbreak of war prevented her and her mother from journeying north to reunite her family. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: She takes her job very seriously, in part because she fears she cannot get a new one. She is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes her no end of embarrassment.

History: Gifted from a young age, Anakis studied abroad. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Fisher work with an outfit from a few towns over. Fisher work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Fisher for the past few years.

Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. He has a habit of throwing himself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Cursed with vampirism at a very young age, Stannor has worked very hard to control his curse. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and to prove his worth to the world

Personality: He is fixated on the number 69. He counts his steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. He seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: Born in the east to a Sailor, Watson learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Sailor. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by giants. Watson was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the giants.

Motivation: He has a crush on the local Roofer; and balancing his hectic life and new sailor responsibilities is difficult

Personality: He has always had a great fascination with Halfling culture. He is lazy and tries to find solutions quickly.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
