History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. His arcane abilities were realized during a raid on his village. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Varis fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: He was born in the south, but his parents moved at a very young age to the west. His mother was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: Hoshû was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. In his 18th year, his parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Hoshû alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.
