Description: This man is very fat, and wears bulky white painted plate armor. His black hair is unkempt and raggedy. He wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.
Personality: He is intelligent and cunning, but he will too often allow his rage to get the better of him. He will lose his cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. A true patriot, Thorpe would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.
History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Thorpe was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. After a long history of fighting, Thorpe and his spouse have recently divorced.
Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

Description: A moderately attractive woman, she typically wears a sleeveless long coat of deep red leather and dull black iron scale mail. Sporting a white mohawk this woman's hair draws a lot of attention. Her violet eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.
Personality: She is happy with her job as a Spy. She turns her eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. She loves being with her children and actually smiles when they are around. She would do anything for them. She dislikes her ex a great deal.
History: Cora was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Monk, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Monk in service of a powerful lord somewhere. She found a children's book about a Halfling Monk who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.
Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Spy responsibilities is difficult; and to reunite with her old friends

Personality: She is a melancholic, but persistent worker. She resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. She is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes her no end of embarrassment.
History: A child with a great deal of music talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. She worked as a nervous Soapmaker and found it very stressful. She has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Soapmaker.
Motivation: She'd like to take her coworkers down a peg; and she feels kind of lost in life

Description: She stands about 3'3" and has a large tan mantle and cape that has been intricately interwoven into her brown robe. Her right leg appears badly burned and disfigured. She is bald on top and has large auburn tufts of hair around her ears. Her amber eyes dart from person to person.
Personality: She is a very philanthropic person; she spends her free time working at various soup kitchens. She is a great chef.
History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her father. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Salanop fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
Motivation: Her relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

Description: A pudgy woman standing about 3'11" has a big stupid grin on her face most of the time. She is well dressed, but even with her fine clothing she looks run-down. Her golden hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. She has blue eyes and a grey hat with a blue feather.
Personality: She will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken her opponents. Despite her formidable combat skills she remains a coward. She believes the world needs to unite to get rid of illithids once and for all.
History: The child of a Navigator, who enjoyed hunting, Finellen was taken on many hunting expeditions. While studying, she fell in love. They married and had a son. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by illithids. Finellen was horrified and prayed that her father was alright. However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the illithids.
Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and to reunite with her old friends
