Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. In his 15th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. He is obsessed with finding treasure.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In his 12th year, his parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Theriatis alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Motivation: He has passion for adventuring and risk; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature quarterstaff.

Motivation: Money/treasure; and wishes to resurrect an old love

Personality: She acts crazy and hedonistic. She has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a woman enough she will sell her own mother. Money is her most trusted friend.

History: She was born into a rich family. Through the years after Tomph was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Tomph's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. When she grew older, she became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. She began work as a mercenary for hire. She would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: She is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get her out; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

Personality: She acts crazy and hedonistic. She can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Cursed with a spirit at a very young age, Vaina has worked very hard to control her curse. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: To end her boredom; and she is content
