History: He was born in a small desert village. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her mother. Ostracized due to the divine powers of her oldest brother, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. She has since married many spouses, only to have them die. She claims to not be responsible.

Description: She has a large tan mantle and cape that has been intricately interwoven into her grey robe, but does not cut a very imposing figure. She walks with a slouch but will stand straight to her full 3'6" when asserting herself. Her silver hair is cut short. History: A powerful necromancer made her what she is. A serious injury left her father unemployed and in need of constant care. Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm father. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: To pay off her debts; and she made a deal with a demon which lead to her current lot in life, and she's becoming increasingly nervous about it

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. He found a children's book about a Gnome Adept who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has achieved small success as a Dyer.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and he's repulsed by the pc
