He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. History: He was raised by priests from a young age. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. After a long history of fighting, Halimath and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs.

History: He is a Lamia in disguise. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. She dropped out of school before completing her studies. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

Motivation: Wants to raise her children well.
