Description: A well shaped man just over fifty, he wears a faded coat and loose pants complete with broad hat. His hair is red, silky, and of moderate length. His eyes are likewise silver. His teeth are white and perfect.

Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. He always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove him into the Fortune-teller business.

History: Born to a Junk Dealer, his father struggled to pay the bills. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Melech grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Melech. He would ruin relationships and cause injury. He was reprimanded several times before being given his current form and forced to learn humility.

Personality: She shows great sympathy to all travelers. She's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. She would rather hide behind her crafts than deal with other people.

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. Her homeland was ravaged by war and she spent much of her life rebuilding it. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.

Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. He is a ruthless business man, a trait he acquired from his father.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Navigator. He became a Navigator soon after.

Motivation: He's looking for his big break; and he is unsatisfied with his job

Description: What flesh remains visible is marred by burns. He is wearing colorful clothing, dressed as a Ploughman. He has no hair. He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.

Personality: He goes out his way to put a smile on everyone's face. There's no-one he won't accept into his heart. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Ploughman but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He's looking for his big break; and he wants to meet his childhood hero

Personality: He's a bit of a prankster. He knows he is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. He has all his life been fascinated with poetry.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and obtaining odd cultural halfling artifacts is his passion
