History: When he was but 8 years old his parents immigrated from the west. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the forest to a summer home near a large cave. He would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the forest due to the painful memories there. Shane took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up scimitar and armor he uses now. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: He is a jovial happy person, but he is convinced people are living their lives too quickly. He passes on several rewards to people in need. He makes a point to leave places better than he found them.

History: Srorthen hails from a village terrorized by giants. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. He bought a shield and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.

Motivation: Many giants want him driven away.

Personality: Deceptive and manipulative this southern gal figured out how to best use her charms to convince people to do what she wants. She is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.

History: Gifted from a young age, Breena studied abroad. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to her current location. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 2 years.

Motivation: To end her boredom; and to be a carpenter again

Description: This man is tall and muscular. He is well dressed, but even with his fine clothing he looks run-down. His hair is short and blonde. His face is scarred and worn.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Cockaby embodies much of what other species detest in the Gnomes. Cockaby enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. After a long history of fighting, Cockaby and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC.

Description: With brown face paint in a stripe pattern across her face, she wears suspenders and yellow workpants. Her shirt is green, and she wears a heavy yellow leather apron most of the time. Her hair is always cut to a buzz. Her brown eyes dart from person to person.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation she is generally quite perceptive. She notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. She pushes her goals aggressively. She is also a coward if confronted.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. In her 14th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her mother impaled in their home, and her father beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and she is wracked by social anxiety
