During her travels, Hethress and her party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Hethress discovered the rest of her party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Hethress fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing her own horrible transformation.

History: She is a Lamia in disguise. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. She struck the Mortician job and began her own company from there.

Motivation: She doesn't get along with people that don't share her tastes; and balancing her hectic life and new mortician responsibilities is difficult

Personality: She is envious of other's things. She hoards treasure, art, food, wine, and anything that she so desires. Unvera is a bit of a follower. Usually she is manipulated by her sisters into helping them out, but recently she has become more of a free agent.

History: A child with a great deal of painting talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. Cursed with a spirit at a very young age, Unvera has worked very hard to control her curse. She has never given up on her painting dream.

Motivation: She will attempt to ambush and attack anyone she thinks she can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, she will try to sell them to her slave-trader contact; and her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion

History: Melech was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Bellfounder work with an outfit from a few towns over. Bellfounder work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.
