History: Nalaed was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her mother was employed at, doing general labor. Her homeland was ravaged by war and she spent much of her life rebuilding it. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He has recently attracted an admirer that believes he's playing hard to get.

Motivation: He possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal; and a rival would like him out of the picture

A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He now spends his time doing works of charity.
