Personality: Deceptive and manipulative this northern guy figured out how to best use his charms to convince people to do what he wants. History: He comes from a rich northern family. In his 15th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Personality: She is extraordinarily passive and rarely speaks, let alone speaks her mind. She is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Halflings.

History: Euphemia hails from a village terrorized by orcs. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her sons to still be retired.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and a strong sense of loyalty to gnomish people

Personality: She considers herself the protector of her home. She feels this is her duty and calling. She has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

Personality: She is a melancholic, but persistent worker. She resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. She loves teas. She is very sensitive about her face. To blow off anger she lifts weights and to control her otherwise explosive temper she works out a lot.

History: Shax hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. There was a wharf not far from home where she often wandered off to fish. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Shax fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: Someone believes her a fraud; and a deep hatred of dire rats
