History: Erdan was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He helped his mother out around the business and became quite the natural. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Erdan fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: He has decided he is irredeemable; and balancing his hectic life and new blacksmith responsibilities is difficult

History: Nim was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Tanner and was forced into it by his family.

History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. Her father was a soldier and died while she was still young. Ishte was left her father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.
