Description: A plain young-adult man, he wears a green armored body suit, with a simple tan line shooting up and back down. His hair is short and purple. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: Astar speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. He also hits on women, regardless of circumstances.

History: Astar lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion; and he feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world

History: Her mother raised her in a mountain cabin. She dropped out of school before completing her studies. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: She got into the Jeweler business at a young age. From there she went from mercenary job to mercenary job. When she grew older, she became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. She began work as a mercenary for hire. She would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and she desires to right it; and a deep hatred of gnolls
