History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Zephan was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. After a long history of fighting, Zephan and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Bethrynna was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He uses money and sex appeal to get what he needs.
