History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. In his 17th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and he is wracked by social anxiety

His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Personality: Always inclined to offer people food she seems plenty friendly. She is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: Her father raised her in a mountain cabin. Her mother was very strict, and drilled into her lessons on being the perfect lady. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
