Description: A 3'2" southern man, he wears very tight pants and wife beaters, though occasionally he sports a red coat. His black hair is thinning but still full. His face is scarred and worn.

Personality: In the realm of puns, he cannot help himself. He feels obliged to make them. He lacks restraint and is impulsive. He jumps in and acts without thinking all too often.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To prove his worth to the world.

Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. He disdains his fellow northerners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to his current location. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: A deep hatred of dire rats; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. She has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Motivation: She is terrified, and will act out of fear.

Description: He is typically in his Unemployed uniform. He is physically well-built. He has moderate length red hair. He is baby faced.

Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. He is a great chef.

History: He was born into a rich family. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Leucis grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Leucis. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Unemployed for the past few years.

Motivation: He possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal; and he is greedy
