History: Portia lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Beggar work with an outfit from a few towns over. Beggar work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She became a Beggar soon after.

She came across an abandoned tomb where she found a relic that called out to her. After picking it up she was cursed by vampirism.
