Personality: She is fixated on the number 83. She counts her steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. She seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. She claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day she will do what she thinks is right.

History: Oriff was born with her father's beautiful face. Since her father passed away years ago, her mother had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She is untrained/undisciplined, which makes her dangerous.

Motivation: She is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally.

Description: Dark and lean, he is a relatively plain man. He tends to wear a heavy leather apron. Coupled with his rolled up shirt sleeves this gives him a very relaxed look. His small hat is riddled with cuts and holes. He has several tiny emerald earrings on each ear.

Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk he knows how to make people feel guilty. He takes great pride in his work and is very well organized. His planner is full of calendar events.

History: He is a Hag in disguise. His parents were killed by dire rats in a raid when he was still a young child. The dire rats captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Spice Merchant for the past few years.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark.

Description: He wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment, but does not cut a very imposing figure. He walks with a slouch but will stand straight to his full 3'7" when asserting himself. His black hair is cut short. His blue eyes peer out from beneath his wide-brimmed tan hat.

Personality: He is enamored with his job. He loves it. He likes the challenge and he likes helping those less fortunate than him. He constantly seizes attention wherever he goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. He likes to think of himself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: A powerful slaver made him what he is. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Mayor.

Motivation: He feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world.

Description: A moderately attractive woman, she is wearing the road beaten gear of a warrior. She has wavy brown hair. She wears a mask on her face.

Personality: She likes to make people angry or surprised. She receives visions of the future at random moments

History: She was raised in a island tribe. In her youth she was a Animal Trainer, and wanted to be a champion fighter when she grew up. She was working during a period of war, and as one of the natives she lived in fear of joining the others in being slaughtered. She saw the brutality and swore off her fighting aspirations, taking her younger sister on her back after seeing her parents die, and fled the country. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Althaea fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: She's repulsed by the PC; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

Description: This southern woman wears tattered old clothes. Her clothes are grease stained in places. With wild auburn hair. Her violet eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.

Personality: She is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before her hampering stammer kicks in. Willow enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for her love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Fortune-teller hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: She's in love; and wishes to resurrect an old love
