He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines hazel.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Mayor born in the past three hundred years. Animals are drawn to him, and he is able to talk to them.

History: Gifted from a young age, Brug studied abroad. He dropped out of school to support his sick father, and resented it. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: A powerful wizard made her what she is. Her mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her mother was legitimate. After a long history of fighting, Merla and her spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions; and her religion dominates her actions
