History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his mother. Rurik was born on a far southern mountains where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Shipwright. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Corkitron's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Audhild hails from a village terrorized by goblins. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.
