He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

History: Spear hails from a village terrorized by brigands. In his 11th year, his parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Spear alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has been helping groups of widows and orphans who have fled abusive spouses or lost their families to brigands.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Cartwright born in the past three hundred years. He is a ruthless business man, a trait he acquired from his father.

History: Gifted from a young age, Xappan studied abroad. When Xappan reached his early adolescence his Tiefling father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He has worked as a Cartwright like his father before him.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

Personality: He is a very happy person and has lots of energy. To put it simply, he's a very lovable idiot. He has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

History: Gifted from a young age, Akta studied abroad. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. She has dedicated herself to building a better kind of golem.

Motivation: To reunite with her old friends; and obtaining odd cultural halfling artifacts is her passion
