Personality: She has schizophrenia that causes her to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. Her philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Being born in the west, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the west for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way south. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 14 years.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Cursed with vampirism at a very young age, Shane has worked very hard to control his curse. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Guard they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Dilettante, and he later adopted a second son.

She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. She claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day she will do what she thinks is right.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. She has had some formal painting training, and achieved minor success. She has never given up on her painting dream.

Personality: While she acts the brute, she is far gentler than she would appear. She is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure she is not cheated out of a speck.

History: A powerful brothel owner made her what she is. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.
