History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Lerissa was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Lerissa abandoned her home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. She survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. She did whatever it took for her to survive. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

History: She comes from a rich southern family. Like her mother and her brother before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Fortune-teller. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: To reunite with her old friends; and she desires power and/or immortality

Personality: Friendly and accommodating she would invite many more into her home than her spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. A fanatic, her devotion to her small selection of gods is unquestionable. She claims to be doing their will and will base all her actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: Burana lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. She went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: She wants revenge against dire rats; and many dire rats want her driven away

Personality: She is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. She is always in debt, since she spends her money on lavish parties and gifts for friends

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Tabaxi companion (her 'brother'). She has became unsatisfied with her lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Motivation: To unite with her brother; and she has passion for adventuring and risk
