History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He is shy and timid. He has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. He is obsessed with his god.

History: Fonkin was raised in a hard working conservative environment. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Interpreter for hire.

Motivation: To be a Jeweler again; and balancing his hectic life and new interpreter responsibilities is difficult

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He worked as a nervous Sage and found it very stressful. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg

Personality: She is shy and timid. She has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. To her fellows she is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: The child of northern immigrants she idolized her mother. In her 11th year, her parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Adelaide alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Revenge.
