History: He was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. Recently a tribe of orcs attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Charles fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. A gifted student he started as a Baker, but he got bored and became a Mason. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Marry his sister to traveling adventurers; and he is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally

Description: This woman stands a little under 6'3" and is a bit bulky. She is very muscular particularly in the legs. She is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright white and blue, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems. She has done her best to style her white hair to look like a famous performer. Her amber eyes are slightly larger than normal.

Personality: She takes her job very seriously, in part because she fears she cannot get a new one. She is able to make almost anything out of random pieces of junk.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. She inherited a moderately successful company from her mother. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.

Description: 3'0" and lanky with angular features, he is an attractive figure. He prefers to wear flannel. His auburn hair is well kept and his bushy mustache is tapered upwards at the ends. His blue eyes peer out from beneath his feathered red hat.

Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He plays an instrument quite well.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Ghaliver was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He found a children's book about a Halfling Barbarian who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.
