History: A powerful brothel owner made her what she is. She was an apprentice working in her father's forge. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Detective for hire.

Personality: She is a melancholic, but persistent worker. She resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. She does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of goblins may trigger it at times.

History: Born in the east to a Mason, Oriff learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. She worked as a nervous Mason and found it very stressful. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: Many dire rats want her driven away; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and she desires to right it
