History: He was raised in a plains tribe. A gifted student he started as a Herbalist, but he got bored and became a Marshal. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 12 years.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and he desires to right it; and a deep hatred of gnolls

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. She struck it rich when she found rare goods in large quantities. She now mingles about in high society.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. In his 17th year, his parents were killed by a goblins raid, leaving Shifting alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He now owns his own business.
