Description: The light-skinned man stands 3'2" and wears loose pants and a collared shirt complete with sweater beneath his coat. His tied-back hair is brown. He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He loves teas. He is very sensitive about his face. To blow off anger he lifts weights and to control his otherwise explosive temper he works out a lot.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. Recently a tribe of orcs attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Halander fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and he has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day

Description: His right thumb is blackened and bruised, but otherwise he appears quite healthy. He wears a fine chain shirt which he covers with brown colored cloaks and clothing. His chestnut hair is long and unkept. His thin eyebrows rest above his beady blue eyes.

Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Gilthur was born on a far western plains where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Sage. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He is greedy; and obtaining odd cultural elven artifacts is his passion

Description: Relatively heavier built than your average woman, she is not imposing. She wears a tan vest with golden trim over her white shirt. Her black leather gloves and pants are well-kept, and her tan boots flare out at the collars. She wears her red hair up. She has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. She wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: She is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help her friends. She considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. She will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. Bethrynna abandoned her home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. She survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. She did whatever it took for her to survive. She has dedicated herself to building a better trade route.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark.

Description: This fat southern man has a bulbous nose and wears a faded coat and loose pants complete with top hat. His skin is also unnaturally pale. His auburn hair is smooth and relatively long. His otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.

Personality: He is a Shepherd first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. He takes great pride in his work and is very well organized. His planner is full of calendar events.

History: Born in the south to a Shepherd, Adran learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Barber they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Shepherd, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and marry his sister to traveling adventurers

Description: Her left side is far more bruised and cut up than her other. She is renowned for her bright brown dresses and hats. Her black hair is cut short. Her eyes are blue and catlike.

Personality: Her tongue was cut out and she uses sign language. She has a cruel streak; something she gained from her previous mentor. She harbors resentment against her former mentor.

History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. There was a wharf not far from home where she often wandered off to fish. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and a strong sense of loyalty to half-elven people
