History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In his 10th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Flask alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. She was an apprentice working in her father's forge. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Creega grew up listening to her mother's many stories. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She has dedicated herself to building a better kind of golem.
