Personality: Ombul is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and retire the richest man in the north

Description: He is an exceptionally muscular looking eastern young adult. He wears many layers of old clothing at all times. Beneath his clothing is a huge mess of scar tissue. He has black fur. His ears are large.

Personality: He is curt in most of his responses. He prefers to keep his word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. He cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world.

Description: This light-skinned female wears a black shirt with thin green vertical stripes and black pants. She is tall, broad shouldered and powerfully built. She sports a flattop hair cut. She wears large thick round spectacles.

Personality: She is unhospitable to her core. Her small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. She would rather hide behind her crafts than deal with other people.

History: She got into the Detective business at a young age. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to her current location. After a long history of fighting, Huru and her spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Detective responsibilities is difficult.

Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. He invites people to come help in his community garden.

History: He got into the Scribe business at a young age. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He has worked as a Scribe like his mother before him.

Motivation: Expand his business; and sabotage a competitor
