Description: Relatively heavier built than your average man, he is not imposing. He wears rags and sports a simple walking cane. His red hair is drawn into a tight pony tail with a rose scrunchie. His hazel eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.

Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. The war was a terrible time for him, and Baern does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He married young, but lost his spouse to illithids. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Description: This late middle aged woman dresses in white turtlenecks beneath a violet coat with grey slacks and is in decent physical shape. Her hair is brown and curly. Her green eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: She is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends she is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy herself. She tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: Born in the west her family was never financially stable. In her formative years she discovered how persuasive she was. She began using that to her advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Personality: She snorts whenever she laughs or is feeling confident. Her philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.

History: She got into the Interpreter business at a young age. While she appears to be a normal Elf, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. She is untrained/undisciplined, which makes her dangerous.

Motivation: She loathes her own lifestyle; and she is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally

Personality: She has a good heart but also a terrible temper. She will forgive often but not before yelling and berating someone for whatever they have done wrong. A true patriot, Olivia would do anything for her country. She is fiercely protective of her fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: Olivia was born in the east. At a young age she loved to build and create. She has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to her frivolously. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

Personality: She swings through moods quickly. One moment she is cool and collected, the next she is carried away by passions. Nija enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for her love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Nija was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her mother was employed at, doing general labor. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. Her addictions have taken their toll on her wallet, and she has found herself with a great deal of debt owed.

Motivation: She has a crush on the local Laborer.
